The greatest challenge to the ongoing anticorruption fight, has been the inability to secure convictions with high profile corruption cases, which has made it extremely difficult to practice the principle of accountability among public officials. As a result, the anticorruption fight is losing momentum, especially among the citizens, who were once desperate to support every effort to rid Nigeria of this terror.
