The Centre works to promote and strengthen citizens’ engagement with government institutions. Principally, PAACA programs are targeted at increasing social accountability movement, Youth and Gender inclusiveness, support and promoting electoral reforms, legislative engagement, and advancing anti-corruption campaigns.

Peering Advocacy and Advancement Centre in Africa (PAACA) is an independent, not-for-profit organization established in Nigeria in 2010 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2017. PAACA focuses on promoting and strengthening citizen engagement with government institutions and advancing social accountability movements.

PAACA’s programs are dedicated to promoting constitutional and electoral reforms, legislative engagements, strengthening political parties, promoting credible elections, and advancing anti-corruption campaigns. Additionally, we emphasize Youth and Gender inclusiveness and fostering social accountability.

Our vision is to contribute to building an Africa where public institutions are used as veritable tools for national development. We strive to ensure that these institutions act as catalysts for societal progress and well-being.

PAACA engages through various programs including Democratic Governance and Peace Building, Citizen Engagement and Capacity Building, and Research and Training. These initiatives include organizing research and training for stakeholders, enhancing transparency and accountability, and supporting reforms in governance practices.

PAACA is guided by core values that include Respect, Integrity, Professionalism, and Openness. These values shape our interactions with all stakeholders and guide the execution of all our programs and activities.
