We the People: A Memorandum on Electoral Reform is a citizen-driven roadmap developed by PAACA to strengthen Nigeria’s democratic process ahead of the 2027 elections. Drawing insights from stakeholders across 16 states, the document proposes bold constitutional, legal, and administrative reforms to ensure transparent, inclusive, and credible elections. It addresses key issues such as INEC independence, vote transmission, diaspora voting, nomination fee regulation, and electoral justice mechanisms, presenting actionable solutions to close the gap between Nigeria’s democratic ideals and electoral realities.
